Default 2011 GMC Sierra 1500 4.8L 4X4 (Silverado) No power to fuel pump

I work at a small local shop....

Currently we are working on 2011 with no power PAST the relay for the fuel pump. New relay, swapped relays, and replaced #20 fuel pump fuse.

We have also tried to apply power to the fuse via power probe, also checked for power at the relay have both a 12v signal to the relay, and a ground to the relay but no power to the fuse with key on or when cranking.

Based on what I have read thru alldata and on other forum posts, I should be getting power to the fuse if I have power at the relay.

Vehicle was towed in.....

Electrical is NOT my 1 of my strengths but I can usually work thru it.... however this 1 has me kinda stumped.

Default No power to fuel pump

I'm not sure if this is an anomoly or what, but after a few days of head scratching, my issue with the fuel pump turned out to be a broken wire in the bundle just below the filler neck. I could see a black wire chafed, and after I opened the bundle, found the fuel pump wire had corroded and was all but broken in half.
