2013 mechanic special - Crank no start
Hello folks, I’d appreciate any help I can get.
I bought a 2013 (6.0) 2500 LT 4wd with 180,000+ not in a running condition that had sat for a year.
Replaced:
Batteries
Fuel pump and new gas (was only getting 30 psi at the rail)
Mass Airflow Sensor
Throttle body
Ignition Switch
Vehicle will now crank crank and crank some more, finally it’ll hook in and turn over for a second or two before dying.
Engine has oil and doesn’t appear to be seized. It has spark as well.
Next step I was thinking cam shaft position sensor & crankshaft position sensor.
Any advice would be appreciated. I’m a pretty rookie mechanic.

The fuel pressure reading is not sufficient for the engine to start and run.
To verify, if you have some carb and choke cleaner (closest to gasoline) shoot a shot into the air cleaner and if the engine starts and runs momentarily, there is a fuel supply problem. I don;t recommend starting fluid because most folks use too much and do damage to the pistons.
Let us know what you find, thanks.

I have tried starting the vehicle with starting fluid down the throttle body to no avail. I tried to be cautious with it when I attempted it, but hopefully I didn’t ruin anything by using it. But no that didn’t help get it running either.
We need to be sure fuel is getting into the combustion chamber. Suggest you remove 1 or 2 spark plugs and see if they are wet or dry.
If wet could be spark problem, if dry, could be fuel problem. Possible injectors may not be working
