A/C shuts off.
I’ve read that there is a known defect from the factory on GM trucks that makes the A/C blower shut off intermittently for no apparent reason. Was wondering if there was a known fix for this besides purchasing a new resistor series from the dealership. I don’t understand why I should have to purchase a part to replace the one that is admittedly defective from the factory. Any suggestions? It’s getting worse by the day and I don’t have the funds to purchase the replacement part right now.

I own a 21 year old Chevy K-1500 4x4 pickup that has never had an issue with the A/C, nor a blower motor, which like my fuel pump, has _never_ been replaced, BTW.
And you can find parts online that will likely be cheaper then buying them from a dealership. Can you PROVE your notion that Chevrolet pickups have this issue?
