Did a DOD delete on my 2007 Silverado. Used a GM non DOD cam.
went to start after installing and crank no start. Traced it to the cam sensor. Figured it was an issue due to being after market. Bought GM sensor and found that the other one was damaged by the cam gear.
everything seems to be good (yes I have tore it back down) and I am stumped.

any ideas?
These things are not adjustable, either it's flange is to the base when screwed down, or you have the incorrect sensor. Measure the two depth into the case, should have been the same, but if the OEM sensor is working, and the image is that of the non oem, that's the issue.
