Default Chevrolet Headlights

I was replacing a headlight bulb and socket that had melted and in the process the question of high or low beam was asked. I said low beam, top driver side. Google says the top light is High beam and bottom light is low beam. Does anyone drive a 2012 2500 that can tell me which way it is on your truck? Or is there anyone that knows which way is correct? You can’t just switch the bulbs from top to bottom, they don’t fit.

Thanks for your help

I have a 2012 1500 and low beam is on top. Had to replace my driver's side twice in 4 years.
