Default Door closing problems plz help

So I have a 2007.5 2500HD lmm duramax. It has the extended cab and it's a LT model. The door closes and opens just fine from the outside. But if I use my inside door handle (just put one of those repair kit ones in it) it just bounces and doesn't wana close. The only way to close it after that is to manually lock the door and close it, try to open it, then go around to the passenger side and unlock manually then go back to outside and pull on door and it works fine. It's like it resets it? Also note power lock does not work in driver door either. Bought this truck used and door handle was alr broke. Plz help me cause I always forget to put my window back up before taking key out....

You will most likely need to remove the interior door panel covering again.
This time , before putting it back on, make sure all the features work and that the panel is not jamming against any of the rods operating the door latch assy.
If one of the rods is in the wrong place , it will bind everything and prevent it from working correctly.

Thanks for the response. I'll have to pull it off soon and see but I've had it off a few times now and it's never changed? I did notice that the cable on my driver side is alot longer then the stock passenger door. Don't know if that affects it or not. Also if I use just the cable with like a pair of pliers I can open it from the inside but I think it still does the same thing idn.
