door problems
My son's 94 step side's passenger door would not open so he drilled a hole 5" below the key hole and pressed down on a small release lever and the door opened properly. Now the driver's door has done the same thing but when he drilled the hole and pressed down on the little lever the door latch does not release allowing the door to open. I am thinking I might cut a hole in the cab right behind the door catch latch "post" and see if it has a nut on the back that can be removed so the door can then open the the problem found and resolved but that nut may be attached to the cab so it cannot be turned/removed. Any suggestions?
