Cool Front Impact Sensor

My 08 Silverado has a cracked sensor on the driver side...i have been looking all over for a replacement. The # on the sensor is AA10034, is there a replacement part for this that is compatible? Or do i have to replace it with the same part number, as mention i cant find it..., funds are limited as well,,,so i have been on EBAY...any help is greatly appreciated

Does it look like one of these sensors?

I am guessing it is the 3rd one in the list. I can also find it at Autozone, O'Reilly and others if I search using the AA10034 number you give. That is apparently not the actual part number, but it comes up. Not a cheap sensor by any means, but you need it obviously...

Good luck!

Since you're on a budget and looking at eBay, make sure to buy from a seller with good reviews. Carefully check the part listing to ensure the seller guarantees it will work with your Silverado.

The only thing I can find for a 2008 Silverado that claims to be a front impact sensor is this:

https://www.chevroletpartsdirect.com...UtM2wtdjgtZ2Fz

GM part 85598007

Unfortunatley, they don't have a real picture of it.

This part on Rockauto sure looks a lot like yours, except it has a plastic piece that extends down on the bottom side. You don't show the connector, but if you flip through the photos of the one on Rockauto, is the connector the same as yours?

yeah thats the GM part number i called the dealer....funny thing is there are so many parts that look like the one on my truck.....remove the sticker and there identical....even the parts guy at the dealer said he dont know if you can mix match....but you know dealers......i know there are replacements for my specific one, but just searching for it...and seen research on mix matching......just a pain for such a small yet important part

I had a 2009 Silverado and the service airbag light came on. I was told it was more than likely a bad front impact sensor. I never found a substitute for mine other than going to a junk yard and pulling one off a wrecked truck. The bad part is there is no way of checking one to tell whether it is good or bad. Everyone said you just had to buy one and try it on one side if not put it on the other side. Don’t like spending $100.+ for a guessing game.
