Default LH6 swap

Hey guys,

I am an AFM victim at about 170k miles. I've found a replacement motor with 90k miles on it that will get here in about a week and will be a direct swap.

My question is what can i do to bullet proof this "new" motor so that it doesnt die again? Im thinking a stronger oil pump to start, and once i get the chance I'll do an AFM delete. Is there anything else I should do while it's all apart?

Torque converter/bell housing? any other engine components that will be easier to replace now vs when the motor is already in there?

It's an '08 LH6.
