I just recently bought a 2009 Silverado work truck from an individual and come to find out, there is NO cruise control. I’ve been doing some research and supposedly it might come pre wire for the switch? Please help a guy out!

 

sometimes they are.i had a 08 express van with a plain steering wheel.i added a deluxe steering wheel with all the switches and wiring harness.....low and behold not only did the radio switches work but the cruise control did also.......its a leap of faith because i could have bought all the components and ended up with nada....just my experience.....must van is a 08 2500 baseline truck so nothing special.....hope that helps
