Hello all, Ok so I have a 2007 2WD 4.8. Stopped yesterday on an incline and put my truck in park. When I went to take it out of park it acted as though the cable was stretching and didn't want to come out of park. Of course with a little manhandling I got it to come out of park. So now every time I go to take it our of park there seems to be a fair amount of travel before I can get it out of park. On a side note though once it's out of park it goes through every gear without the excessive shifter "travel". I have found if i apply the parking brake before i shift it into park it will come out of park without the manhandling of the shifter. Anyone else have a similar problem?
