Default slight whining noise

So I have a 2011 silverado 1500 4wd and I noticed today with the radio off probably wouldn't have been able to hear it with it on. But while making a long left turn while on the high way I heard a slight whining noise noise that seemed to go away after I straightened out. While turning right there doesn't seem to be a noise only to the left. And it seems like it takes a few miles for it to start so not sure if its a bearing or something in the rear end that is only worn on one side and the fluid has to warm up first but thought I would ask here and see if anyone has any ideas. Its not bad but it is a new sound I am usually pretty good at noticing when things sound different even if its just a little bit.
