Steering wheel noise
The fist thing to do is to change out your power steering fluid. The easiest is to purchase a turkey baster, buy some power steering fluid directly from GM, ( I don’t believe in universal power steering fluids). Use the baster to empty the reservoir. Fill it with fresh fluid. Take it for a drive and slowly turn lock to lock in a parking lot, remove the fluid again, fill, and repeat. I would would do a total of three fills to have 90% new fluid. Others would say you should take off the return hose and go for 100% replacement but I think it’s just extra work for what you get. If it’s still noisey or if your power steering pump is leaking you might consider replacing the pump.
