Hello,
I recently bought a 08 Chevy Silverado 1500 (crew cab) brought over from Canada. So it operates in Kilometers and KPH, I am looking to swap it over to MPH. I am new to something like this so I was wondering if anyone else has tried this before?
Other than a mph cluster, is there anything else that will be required for this swap?
Will any cluster work or do i have to find one using the code on the back my current cluster? If I use this code will it point to a Canadian cluster?
It has an electronic odometer so I am guessing the new one will need to be reprogrammed with the correct mileage?
Will the truck computer need to be reprogrammed for MPH or switched out with a USA computer?
If anyone can help me out, it would be greatly appreciated!

Press the vehicle information button until UNITS displays. This display allows you to select between English or Metric units of measurement. Once in this display, press the set/reset button to select between ENGLISH or METRIC units. All of the vehicle information will then be displayed in the unit of measurement selected.
