Following up, I haven't done anything with this since my last post.

So I'm looking for some advice.

Again, the truck is a 2007 Silverado with 156k. I've owned it since new and it's in excellent condition.
It's arguably the best vehicle I've ever owned but have recently repaired; new universal joints, new brake lines, new starter. I've added new Michelin tires in 2019.
It's just a 2 wheel drive with a the locking differential so it does decent in the snow. (never been stuck)

Would you put a rebuilt 4L60e in or just try and sell it as is? (about $1100 if I do it myself)

With the high mileage, I'm sure other things will continue to come up. I'm amazed I'm still running my original alternator, fuel pump, P.S. pump, etc.
The 5.3L Vortec motor uses zero oil (Mobil 1 since new), so I'm sure it would take me to 200k with no problem.
