truck wont let me program tire pressure sensor
2007 chevy silverado
is the vin 2GCEK13M871698439 5.3
The truck wont let me program tire pressure sensor
the oil life shows ---% but will still notify me for oil change? even when reset it dosn't show the message for change oil soon but still just shows ---%
the biggest issue that wont go away is the service trailer brake system, there is no factory trailer brake system hooked up and there is no aftermarket hooked up.
from what i can tell all fuses are good, i tried looking at wires at the back relay near the spare tire but I do not see one or any wires that would goto one.
every once in a while the truck will pop up and say program wheel sensors and let me use the system but by next restart its gone again.
that happens maybe 1 once a year maybe twice i dont know where to start.

not sure on the oil life.
have someone with a tpm tool register the sensors. Any sensor that doesn't register is bad and must be replaced. Any sensor with a low battery life must be replaced. tpm sensor battery life is approx 10 years....the tool can measure this.
have someone with a scan tool read the chassis codes. A full function scan tool is required to access chassis codes. a cheap code reader only reads powertrain dtc. post the codes...that is the diagnosis starting point.
