Angry 2 strange problems with my Silverado..

.. hoping someone can assist me with these two issues? Ground info: 2017 Silverado 1500, crew cab, Z71 with All-Star package, 5.3l gas engine, when I bought it new in 2017 I flashed the engine with a $350 piece of hardware (forget the name, but think it's red bulldog or something?) to disable AFM, changed shift points, going into 4 cylinder, etc..etc.. for better performance and the truck was fine ...well...until this past year when two annoying, scary and random things started happening.

1) Service rear camera system messages would occasionally appear in the middle of my dash, and the backup camera would work, but the red lines/box to show where you actually are would be gone.. then I'd play the guessing game to not hit anything.. Turning the truck off and waiting a few seconds, then trying again would usually result in the lines back..

2) Service 4wd system messages also would occasionally show up, and I've noticed (like yesterday) issues with the transmission. Example of just yesterday trying to get to a new Dunkins for coffee, I pull into a lot, take the wrong turn, stop, slap it into R and punch the gas while turning, backing up, then slap it into D and go to the correct drive thru lane up and left and ..oops.. wtf?!.. my tranny makes noises, nd the entire truck is someone feeling like it's in 4H or 4L or something.. can barely turn the wheel.. **** sounds weird.. I stop and turn the **** and see if it'll shift to 4H and it claims it is.. then I turn the **** back to 2WD and it seems to shift.. and I carefully turtle forward because now I'm worried the transmission will fall out or something..
NOTE: I took the truck to the Norwood, MA Boch Chevy dealership where I bought it, and the tech checking me in said since he couldn't see any problems, he wasn't going to tie up a high end tech for a day to just try to get it to have a problem and told me bye.. and to bring it back if the message comes back and stays on .. so I left..

If anyone has any input on these two things, I'd appreciate it - thanks so much!

Jeff

Sounds kinda familiar. I have a '17 Silverado LTZ, 84000 miles...second owner. Recently it started showing Service 4WD, Service Trailer Brakes, Service Stabilitrak etc... messages. Engine light came on, ran like crap, if I cut it off the door locks would not unlock to let me out, thankfully the windows went down. Anyhow, took it to the dealer and they replaced the main wiring harness coming off the battery. Ran fine for two weeks then one morning it would not crank. Zilch. After about 20 minutes it started fine. Took it back to dealer and they could not find anything wrong. Said it was a "Communications Issue" and to bring it back it the check engine light came back on. Said it may or may not happen again. Very comforting thought....NOT!!!

Default Problems Silverado rear camera

Dealer should have done all the updates before delivery. Think they are required to by GM.
