I'm not saying it's what causing yours but I did once and turns out the screen was very dirty. Cleaned the screen and didn't have the problem anymore.

Have you checked the blown fuse? And It can also be due to a problem with the display itself, or a problem with the circuit board.

I have that problem on my 2015. It also changes the little screen on the dash. When I shut the radio off and play a CD it keeps going BEEP, BEEP as it changes channels and drives me nuts!

Cool

2017 Silverado crew cab LTZ - I have had problems with the infotainment system jumping around and occasionally landing long enough to change a station. Phone and radio still work but the display is useless. Multiple complaints and attempts to fix it by the dealer resulting in temporary fixes. Passed out of warranty 11/21 and when it started jumping around again the dealer said it needed replacement, now that it's out of warranty it is a $1300 problem. Reading other forums the typical factory replacement unit lasts two years before having the same problem occur. I have two questions:
1. Is there an effort I can join for a class action suit to force a recall?
2. Anyone tried the after market Stinger replacement? Does it work well?

Thanks and I look forward to your responses.

Default Chevy Silverado Radio no Good

Okay, since my last post , If I go with yet another GM infotainment center this will be my third one, my 2017 Silverado had only 25,000 on it . Dealer offered to do 50% but no one can tell me if the radios have been improved, so the last one lasted a little over a year. After much conversation with GM customer service they offered me a 30.000 mile or 24 month warranty. From what I can see GM expects me to rent a radio in a $47,000 truck at a cost of 800.70 dollars a year. If this is all they think of their customers it might be time to ditch GM.
