2018 4x4 lift kit and the auto 4WD function

2018 4x4 lift kit and the auto 4WD function
I'm currently looking to add a lift kit to my truck but when asking around I'm getting some conflicting answers with regards to the Auto 4WD function. Most of the suspension lifts are not compatible with AWD. My question is Auto 4WD considered AWD for these kits and if so can I lift this truck? I'm only looking at a 4 to 6 inch lift for a 2018 Silverado 1500 4wd crew Z71
