Battery and alternator have both checked fine. Of course the warranty is long gone. I'm not mechanic enough to do what you did in the video and get it back together. Could always tear apart....could never put back together.
Yesterday when it wouldn't start there was no clicking sound when I turned the key other than from the dash...none at the starter. Then miraculously in a couple hours it starts but with the engine and stabilitrak lights both on. I'm ready to set fire to it!!!

 

Ok so. I know this is not what you Chevy guys want to hear but I solved the issues with my truck. Ummm...I defected. To the blue oval. Sorry guys. I've always been a Ford guy and had to try a bowtie to see what the competition had. As you can read above I had nothing but problems with it from the time I bought it and GM could not figure out what was wrong with it. It even acted up on my way to trade it. Just got scared of it. I realize in this day and age any make can give problems. This blue oval may. Who knows? We'll see.
