Default Leaky brakes - 2016 Silverado 2500HD

Good Afternoon - I have a 2016 Silverado 2500HD. Replaced front and rear brake pads and rotors, replaced right front and left rear caliper. Every thing is dry for about 30 mins, after that I noticed brake fluid leaking all over the tires. The bleeders are good and snugged down, brake hoses seems to be okay, banjo bolt and washers are snugged down properly. Has anyone experienced this before or can recommend additional areas to trouble shoot?

Thanks

have someone start the vehicle and pump the brakes...watch for fluid leaks.

When you replaced the calipers did you replace the copper washers on the hose ? I changed a caliper once and had a leak which was hard to find.. The threaded hole in the caliper where the hose screws into was machined wrong and no matter how much I tightened the bolt it would still leak. Took it back for exchange.

As tech2 said - have a helper pump the brakes while watching for leaks.

I wouldn’t start it right away, though. With the engine running, The brake booster pressure could cause the leak to spray as opposed to just leak, and potentially can get in your eyes (regardless of eye/face protection - fluid can bypass them all. )

Check for fluid flow from the banjo and bleeder as the helper pumps the pedal. If you can’t isolate the source, then try starting and repeat the inspection.

A good flashlight and rag to wipe excess fluid will help.

Check piston seals. Is one of the new calipers leaking? Maybe the piston seal was bad to start with.

I went through everyone's recommendations. It turned out to be axel fluid leaking down on the calipers!

Thanks everyone!
