Default Low MAF Reading?

Hi Guys,
New to this forum and somewhat new to Chevy trucks in general. I recently found using my scan tool that the MAF in my 2016 5.3 Silverado (130,000miles) is reading 0.46lbs/m ( 3.48g/s) which I believe to be considerably low for these truck. I had the truck smoke tested and do not believe there to be any vacuum leaks and I decided to replace the MAF sensor with a brand new OEM one and I am still getting the same readings. Any incite as to what could be the culprit of my low MAF reading?

Additional & Possibly pertinent info, the truck seems to have lost quite a few MPG within the last several months currently averaging around 12.7MPG around town and I have also noticed when on certain occasions it seems to fall flat a bit, in other words lacks the "normal" power and seems not to give a max downshift at WOT like it previously did. Again Not sure this is related or not just figured the more info the better.
