Default Range AMF Disabler?

Has anyone used the Range AMF Disabler on a 2017 Silverado with 5.3 engine and if so are you pleased with it?

I just realized it should read Range AFM. It seems to get good reviews. Just wondering if anyone on here is using one and if so are you pleased with it.

I don't know Harley. I still haven't bought one. May be getting rid of this piece of junk '17 Silverado of mine. It has serious electrical issues that GM can't seem to figure out. Latest issue, I was on the way to work one morning last week using the heated steering wheel and heated seats features and all of a sudden I thought I was riding a bucking bronc at a rodeo.

Thanks for replying Hokie, I hope you get your issues fixed, I just sold a 2019 f150 with the 5.0 that was in my opinion a piece of junk, the motor and 10 speed transmission made a lot of rattling noises that I just couldn't take any longer, Ford said that was normal for the 5.0, so I went back to a chevy but that v4 setting with aftermarket exhaust is not to pleasant either, I ordered the Range afm hoping it would make it better. thanks again

Used the Range AFM disable on my 07 5.3L Tahoe, worked great. Your MPG will level out to 15-18 but it's worth not blowing the engine.

I've found that driving on the back roads around home if I shift down to L and use the gear selector in 5 it will not drop back to 4 cylinders. Speeds 50 mph or less. Open highway I'll let it drop back to 4. If for some reason I end up keeping this thing I will get the Range AFM.

Yes I use the Range disabler. 2017 Silverado 5.3 litre.
. Mines in the shop with only 28455 miles on it to have 3 injectors replaced.
. Threw codes P050D, P0300,P0303.
Thought for sure this would be the last truck I would have to buy for a while.
Had an 2008 Silverado 5.3 liter that dumped the lifters and camshaft just over the 60K mile powertrain warranty at the time. Go figure.
Now this is practically new truck. Yes it's 4 years old ,but miles say everything.
Why oh why would injectors fail with this many miles?
