So this happened today my wife was sitting in my truck it's a 2017 silverado I left it on since she was in the car for the AC I was inside a building and when I came out the car door was bent backwards and she said it rolled back she swares all she did was turn the truck off and it started rolling. Now I'm sure when I got out the car it was in park because if it wasn't I would of noticed it would of moved forward rolled back something. But anyways now I have to deal with damage to another car and insurance because of this and I don't even know how the hell it happened. Is there anything that could of happened or people have complained of this happening in the past? I'm stumped

 

Welcome from Florida. Duplicate the situation and see if it rolls back again. If in park it should lock and not move.
