Exclamation 2019 silverado 6.2 Engine failure X2

I am looking to the forums because I am desperate and don't know what to do at this point. My hope is that someone has had experience and can give me some advice or Chevrolet customer service will reach out.As a loyal Chevy customer for nearly two decades, I’ve always held your brand in high regard. My first Silverado, a 2005 model, served me reliably, and even the Chevy trucks I used during my active duty service were dependable workhorses. Impressed by their durability, I purchased a 2015 Silverado brand new and drove it for 9 years and 150,000 miles. This positive experience led me to purchase a 2019 Silverado, envisioning countless outdoor adventures with my family. Instead, this truck has become a source of immense stress and financial strain.

Since purchasing the 2019 Silverado with 28,000 miles, I've experienced a series of debilitating issues:

Fall 2023: A faulty oil pressure sensor wire cost me $1200 for repair at Chevyland.

Subsequent Engine Failure #1: Shortly after, a catastrophic lifter failure and camshaft damage occurred at 45,000 miles, necessitating extensive repairs under warranty. This left me without my truck for over 45 days.

Post-Repair Mishap: Immediately after picking up the repaired vehicle, an oil cooling line detached, spewing oil across my engine bay and leaving me stranded again.

Engine Failure #2 (Present): Now, at just 69,000 miles – less than 25,000 miles after the first engine repair – I’m facing yet another suspected lifter failure and possible complete engine replacement. Marketplace is estimating a repair bill of $8,000 to $16,000.

I cannot afford this exorbitant repair bill, especially given the truck's relatively low mileage and the recent, supposedly comprehensive, repairs. The fact that this is happening again, so soon after the previous engine failure, is deeply concerning and points to a systemic problem with the 6.2L engine.

If I remember correctly, the part warranty from the previous repair is 2 yr. unlimited miles. I would contact a dealer and ask about the part warranty if you are less than 2 yrs. or ask for goodwill assistance. If that gets unsatisfactory results, you can call GM customer assistance. I think that would be a start. Hope this helps.

You're correct about the 2 year unlimited Milage warranty for parts and labor but that only applies to maintenance that "you" pay for. Apparently if the work is done under warranty, the coverage ends as soon as the warranty does. This is crazy to me but I have check all of chevy's policy and that is the case. So hypothetically if had maintenance done at 59000 miles it wouldn't be covered at 60001 miles. Very frustrating.
