I'm new to this forum and decided to ask all the Chevy fans regarding 2019 Silverado High Country.
I would like to see what you guys think of Power Up and Down Tailgate, if anybody owns.
Has anybody tried it?? Do you guys like it??

Just got mine Saturday, seems to work very well and will not deploy unless in park.

Do you tow a boat by any chance?
Concerned came up with the power tailgate when you launch a boat in.

On my Custom, the tailgate will go down but won’t come back up. Am I doing something wrong?

 

you have to push the tailgate button twice and hold on the second push of the button until the tailgate is fully raised.

 

the power gate on new 2019 lzt does not click shut. So the drivers info panel shows gate open. You need to exit the truck go back to the gate and shut it all way. It sucks

 

I have had my 2019 Silverado Highcountry for about 10 months now and I like the power tailgate it works as advertised except for in the cold of winter it’s a bit temperamental to lift itself but goes down normally. Overall I love the truck compared to the 2018 except for the engine shutoff feature that just pisses me off.
