2019 Silverado Tail Lights Not Working
I have a 2019 Silverado Z71 that I recently discovered that my tail lights are not working. I don't even know how long they haven't worked because I never drive at night. But I was driving the other night on the Interstate when another vehicle pulled up beside me pointing to the back of my truck so I pulled over to check. I noticed that my tail lights were not on. Now I am trying to figure out what could be the problem. I did notice that when I open the tailgate the lights do come on so they do work but are not working as taillights. Does anyone have any suggestions of where to start looking for the problem? Not long after purchasing the truck I had a camper shell installed and they had to connect the camper shell brake light into the trucks wire at the back. But I don't believe that should had affected my tail lights. I know if I take the truck to the dealer they will charge a small fortune troubleshooting the problem.
Thanks,
Mark

A faulty socket often looks discolored or holds damaged pins inside. A blown fuse. If the bulb or socket isn't the problem, the next check is the fuse or the light switch. Fuses for everything electrical, including your tail lights, are always found in the fuse box
