Ok as the title says I have a 2022 Silverado Lt with the 2.7L. It has the factory brake controller in the dash. It however does not work when I hook up a trailer. I have taken it to the dealer. They said it does not have a trailer brake control module installed. I fought with them just to find out it was not made with one and they will not put one in for free. Weird I know. Im looking at putting one in myself and have the program it. I think it usually should be by the spare tire. Does anyone know where it should be for sure? Do I need any extra wiring to be installed also?
