Default 2024 Silverado 1500 LTZ Accelerating with food off gas

When driving a low speed, as in parking lot...2 times my truck has decided that it wants to go when my foot is not on the accelerator pedal. What has happened is that when driving, I lift off the pedal to slow down for a gate or whatever and the vehicle acts like cruise is on and stays accelerating. When I hit the brake it stops fine and the idle goes back down. This has only happened 2 times and both times in parking lots. On an older car sometimes having a choke stick would cause the idle to be high but I don't expect this on a 2024 model. I thought the cruise was engaged but I am not setting cruise....maybe accidentally but didn't think it would set under 10 MPH.

Anyone seen this before?

I would take it into a dealership's service department and let them figure it out. Could be a bad sensor.

In my opinion, it is a safety hazard.

I need to make sure it's not something I am doing by accident. After that, dealership. I hate to do that.
