I have heard a lot about the problems with AFM. GM says that DFM is newer technology and better. Does anybody know if DFM is having the problems with lifters and push rods as the older AFM is having? Is it worth getting a truck with DFM?

from briefly skimming service info....to me it seems like the same technology ie solenoid that control oil flow to the afm lifters... but its controlled differently by the pcm.
