Default Clicking from transmission at low speed

2019 Silverado 8l90.

I pull into my driveway put it in park and the dash pops a box that says shift into park. I’m thinking what is going on. I reversed out of the driveway, the truck now has very little throttle response. I put in drive and I hear a pop/clunk and now I’m stuck in neutral and still telling me to shift into park and I’ve already shifted into park.

i pulled the pan off, the plug that goes to the selector switch is unplugged about an inch away from the connector. So I simply push it back in and fill trans with 7 quarts and new filter. Start the truck up and everything is back to normal. I go on a test drive and everything is great.

I start pulling it back in the garage and at about 5mph -0mph I hear a rotational clicking. It does it in reverse and forward but only from 1-5mph. After 5 mph it’s completely silent. I had my wife drive forward and back in the garage with me underneath it with a stethoscope and it’s coming from inside the pan.

the clicking starts slow and gets faster till you hit 5mph then completely goes away. Same in reverse, it’s fast clicking then slows as you go from 5mph to complete stop

Has anyone had this issue/or know what is going on?

I'm sure you already know that the 8L90 was plagued with problems. Probably best to take it to the dealer or a good qualified mechanic to get it diagnosed.
