Hi, I have a 2024 Silverado custom, I cant find the dome light fuse. The dome light works fine. I want to install running board lights. I want the function to work when the door is open and closed. I need help tapping into the fuse or dome light. I noticed my bed lights come on when I unlock the truck. I don't have puddle lights or lights on the door that come on while open.

Help save me...........

 

Dome lights are typically on the courtesy light fuse. Do not tap into it or you'll overload the circuit and issues you have will not be covered by your warranty.
Run a new fused circuit back to the fuse box. (especially since it'll be exposed to weather). If you want it to come on with the courtesy lights, then use a relay.
If all this sounds Greek to you then have a professional install it.
