hello Everyone, I need help. My 2020 silverado was due for a “fuel filter change” I took it to the dealer they said it’s not covered under warranty so I ended up paying for it and they changed it, after they changed it I took the car to smog check (California, needed for registration) and it failed smog due to a “PM filter” both the dealer and the smog guy said to just drive the car until the “PM filter” gets ready and then it will pass, after driving about 500miles my pm filter code was ready and it throw a check engine light for it, after taking it back to the dealer they said they ran tests and said that i filled up “the wrong diesel fuel” I filled up diesel #2 and they said that the rating for it is to high for my car, so they told me that it is not a warranty issue and want 2000$ to fix it. i never had problems with the car this past two years I’ve been driving it, and all of a sudden once i changed my fuel filter I ran into loads of problems and headaches, has this happened to anyone else or do any of you have some thoughts?
