Hello everyone. I have a 2022 Chevy Silverado 1500 2.7l 2FL model truck. Since it's purchase I has always had that turbo drone sound while accelerating. Yesterday I noticed it is now making a very loud whistle noise during most accelerating events, more so around the 25-35mph range and sounds like a cop siren. It also happens when in park and reving the engine. Take speeds are sluggish and it when you romp on it on the highway it doesn't have that get up and go.. help!

 

I would say that is very much a warranty concern, so take it into your dealer's service department, take a service adviser, the service manager, or shop foreman for a test drive with you driving and demonstrate it to them.
