Default USA vs Mexico - 2024 3.0 LZO MX or 6.2 USA?

Hey guys and gals. So a quick background on why I’m here. GM is doing some decent promos right now plus local dealer here in Alaska is taking off an additional $2-$3k. (Almost 10K off msrp)

I can get a NEW Duramax 3.0 LTZ with max tow pkg but assembled in Mexico (vin starting with 3) OR get a “Used” 6.2 LTZ (Vin starts with 1) with 3,200 miles. Prices are below.
3.0 LTZ - $61,000 - NEW
6.2 LTZ - $55,000 - USED (3k miles) 6 months old
ALSO available- NEW 3.0 RST for $58k USA build with max tow (just doesn’t have color or passenger power seat) we plan to travel quite a bit in this truck so dual power is almost a must…

Concerns:

1. Which engine may hold its value better down in the lower 48?
2. Any major problems with the 2024 LZO or 6.2?

I’ve read as much as possible and watched videos and everything but I just wanted some additional opinions because I am torn between both.

We just want something that can be a daily driver and then tow a camper (don’t own yet) here and there every other weekend.
We would only tow with it for a really long drive one time when we leave Alaska in about a year with about 7-8k lbs of S#*T in an enclosed trailer.

Pic of the RST for $58k OTD.
