Default 1990 astro 4.3 vortec fuel problem

Hello I have a 1990 astro with the vortec TBI motor. I've replaced the fuel pump and filter and its getting gas through the rail up to the throttle body but the fuel doesn't make it to the injectors. Any idea's would be greatly appreciated..

THanks Allen

The TBI Injector might not be getting the Signal to turn on.

There is also an Fuel Pressure Regulator in the Housing that has a Diaphragm that can go bad (at least there is on My 86 Chevy Cavalier that has TBI).

Because it is a system of different components you need to know how to test the specific components.
Like when you replaced the Fuel Filter and Fuel Pump. It would have been nice to test the Fuel Pressure before replacing them.

Go on the Internet to your Local Library and see if they have any Haynes, Chilton or Motors Manuals.
Even better would be if they had a chiltons guide to Fuel Injection & Electronic Engine Controls.

Check the Electrical Connector to the TBI. I have a 92 and it has a different Fuel System but My Engine would suddenly die on Me and I found out it was the Electrical Connector at the Fuel Injection that was the cause.
