Hello, I have a 99 astro awd that "binds up" when I am turning sharply at slow speeds. This is most noticeable in parking lots and backing out of my driveway. It feels like the front end is hopping or catching on something. I am told by some that this is normal because it is awd and this is what my old blazers would do when the 4x4 was engaged. I have not driven another awd astro to compare it to but it sure doesn't feel normal. I read in another thread that a guy changed the transfer case fluid and that made his smooth but I can't see this being just fluid related. Any suggestions please let me know.

Thanks for the help! I changed the tranfer case fluid and she is all good now!
