Default air bag lite

my air bag lite has just come on and I think that my cruise control has stopped working about the same time , could this be the clock spring has gone bad? If so how do you remove the horn on the steering wheel to replace it , I'm wondering if it just pulls off cause I dont see any screws to remove it

What year is it? Are the cruise control switches on the steering wheel? If so there is a good chance the clock spring is bad.

Check the back side of the steering wheel.

if you get a light and look behind the steering wheel and see 2 discs the screws are behind the discs if not you will need one of those infamous Kent-Moore specal tools. some of them in that year range (if memory serves me correctly) used a funny shaped rod about the size of a pencilto lock the wheel and remove the airbag

I figured it out , went to the junk yard and experimented on one there, its 2 clips that latch on to a post on each side , with a screwdriver just push the clips and remove the airbag
