Hi All,

I will be seeing a 1989 Astro Van tomorrow. Please let me know if there is anything particular I should look out for before deciding to buy this.
It has around 130k miles on it and the asking price is $1500.

Are there any standard complaints for this particular model ? I am a student and am thinking of buying this for camping purposes. I hope its not going
to be a high maintenance vehicle for me.

I checked consumer reports for you. They only go back to 1997 for the Astro. From 1997 through 2005 is ranked the Astro as having a poor reliability rating for every year but one(2000) that was only rated fair. Good Luck
