Default I need more help please

Ok i have a 92 Astro with rear heat and air. The air doesn't work and I know why, but the rear heat blows out cold air.On the second row vent it blows hot air but in the very back of the van it blows cold air out. Maybe the vent it split in between the second row and third row? I guess my question is does the air vent run along the left side of the van or is there another problem why the heat doesn't reach the back?

To the best of my knowledge, the rear vents and blower are dedicated to rear air conditioning. The side vents and blower behind the driver, on the side below the second row window is for rear heat. So a short answer is there is no heat in the very rear. Jim

Mine has a switch labeled Rear Heat. The second row heater is on when the normal heat is switched on. Turning on the rear heat just blows out cool air, no heat or warmth what so ever.

Well, The next step that I would take, trace plumbing at rear heater core. And flush it with a garden hose. Jim

So if this is infact the case then the first and second rows heat are tied together. If you got thethird row A?C switch off and the third row heat switch on then you should be blowing hot air ---LOL----
if you are not, the first thing you should check is under the vehicle. there should be 2 heater hoses pasing through the floor in the area of the second or third row. it is going to be in the neiborhood of 5/8 heater hose. after the vehicle gets warmed up and all controls set to blow hot both of these hoses should get hot. if they do not then I would say you have a plumbing problem. If the hoses infact get hot then i would say you have a blend door issue.

when you slide the controls over is it loose goose like a newer vehicle or do you meet resistence like a 86 model vehicle?
