I have a 97 Astro Van AWD. Went to do a tune up all that went well. decided to change the power steering pump since it was whining and the brakes would vibrate when you pushed them down hard. Now I have a huge problem I lost power steering and my brakes unless I give it gas then the steering will kick back in as well as the brakes. I've replaced the power steering pump twice, the hydro booster and the tensioner pulley and still get the same problem. Anyone have some ideas?

New, rebuilt or junkyard pumps? Are you bleeding the system properly?
