Have an 02 z71. I bought it being told that it was a water pump maybe a head gasket that it was pouring out antifreeze . Long story short bad hose and radiator. Welp now the trans is shot as well . 1 and 2 seemed ok no 3rd five minutes later no gears worked.
I'm looking to buy a used transmission. The lady at my local junkyard said they didn't have any 2002s and something was different with that year but they couldn't figure what it was . Anybody have any input on the 4l60e from 2002?

 

might have different input shafts. might be different compatibility in 4wd vs rwd also. ie might be ok if you have rwd truck.

 

Huh, why didn't I read this post earlier . I had the same problem recently with the shafts
