Default 08 Avalanche Back up Camera no wires

Hey guys, I just bought a 08 LT2 and put in a DVD nav and need to put in a back up camera. Read lots of tips but nothing on what I need to do this. I have the after market VSS with the rca plug but I think it has to go into a module of some kind and then to the back. I called the chevy parts dude and he said it could not be done. I think he is crazy. I have not looked for installed wires but my guess is there are not any. Please help...

Default RE 08 avalanche back up camera

Ok so I re read all of the install directions and have figured out the wires to get it to work. Problem is actually putting the camera #15862575 inside of the bezel cover. Has anyone done this? Can you just pop off the whole tailgate upper cover, drill a hole and it will fit or do I need a new bezel?

You should be able to just drill the hole, but drill it a little smaller than you think it should be just to make sure it fits properly
