08 avalanche driver door handle broke and truck is locked

My door handle started to come off the other day and then came all the way off. I broke my key fob in March and ever since it will randomly lock itself. Is the anyway to unlock it from the outside??

Some locksmiths can make a key from the vin number. The dealer can do it, but they are more expensive.
