Default 2 pin connector behind fuse box causing abs/stabilitrak codes

A friend accidentally cut the wires going from the a braided series of wires under the fuse box to a 2 pin connector that went to the fire while behind the steering wheel. Now my truck is throwing abs/stabilitrak codes saying
----------------------------C0561 [0x4561]System Disabled Information Stored Engine Speed Out of Range [0x71]
-----
P0172 [0x0172]System too rich, bank 1Status: Confirmed----------------------------P0175 [0x0175]System too rich, bank 2Status: Confirmed
I've tried to find what that connector is for but most of the pictures I find don't have it, and some do including the official Chevrolet diagrams. None list it however, and the weird thing is if I disconnect the 2 pin connector it immediately throws those faults and the truck shifts horribly and barely starts. If I hook it back up it just intermittently throws the codes and will rough shift occasionally.

It's the wire and connector coming out of the back of the fuse box going to the firewall next to the break booster. ------------------------------------------------------

Welcome from Florida. The wires are color coded. Just reconnect them and that should solve your problem.

Thanks for the tip, I wasn't sure if it was something I could just re-wire. Now I just have to run down where the wires coming from inside the cab to the engine bay went, because they aren't hanging out of the firewall. I'll update if this works, and I'll keep trying to find out exactly what they go to.
