Problems galore!!
**AUTO MECHANICS ** AVALANCHE OWNERS** HELP NEEDED!! My 2008 Chevrolet Avalanche LTZ. 5.3 l V-8, 104k miles, dyno tuned.

I had it towed to a local mechanic in Marysville, Ohio this past weekend.After 2 days, they stated they've already put "several hours into it" and still don't know what's going on... They've checked the Chevrolet service bulletins to get ideas and are working on checking the wiring harness to cpu module now. 2 days and still no answers.

Current issues...

- The autoride has been making a loud grinding noise. Until the truck levels out... Now it won't shut off until the battery dies or is disconnected.

- I had to jump start my truck after this drained the battery. Then while I was driving, it wouldnt accelerate past 40 mph, braking sounded loud and shaky, and it wouldn't downshift until very slow speeds. The engine also sounded like it wasn't firing on all cylinders also.

- Cruise control not working the past 2 years.

- 4×4 not working for the last 2 years. (When I turn the control module *** to 4x4 high, low modes you can hear it attempt to lock it but the indicator will just flash then go back to 2wd mode.

- Drivers side door lock actuator needs replaced?? Keyless entry only unlocks the drivers side door 60% of the time.

- Code lights include; check engine light, ABS light, Service 4x4, Service suspension system, Service ABS and Service Traction Control.

I replaced the passenger side hub assembly and front brakes / rotors within the last 6 mths.

- Passenger side rear door/window control won't raise or lower the window. (But I can from my drivers control)

- Cracked dashboard above drivers display!

- I've had to replace ALL the chrome handles on my doors atleast twice since owning it!

If anyone can help me, I'd certainly appreciate it. I'm praying this isn't too costly... But I have a feeling it's already adding up. 😕

Sadly... my 41 years as a GM guy is now starting to be tested. Having so many issues on a truck that I paid nearly 50k for new!!
