Default Speedometer help

Hello, I have a 1994 chevy beretta, and i recently took my gauge cluster off to see how to put some lights under it, and when i did my speedometer needle fell off, i tried to take it off at first, but gave up, so i musta got it loose enough. my bad for being stupid. but i put it back on, and now it like sticks while it rises, i think it reads correctly, it just dont go up right, unless i hit the dash. i was thinking i may have put it on too far down the little metal needle it goes onto, and now its kinda rubbing. but i really have no idea. Anyone have any ideas?

Thank you in advance.
