I need help figuring out a replacement steering wheel. Most places ask me for the length but I have already taken it apart and its giving me trouble putting it back together. I want to replace all parts down to the gear box. Can anyone advise me?

go to a scrap yard. i think 76 is the year they changed from a c-clamp style intermediate shaft to the bolt through style. its not going to really matter as long as you grab both the intermediate shaft and column. the other thing to look out for is what you have on your steering column (i.e. turn signal and wipers and manual vs auto) you can make anything really work but to be the easiest you need to 73-83 should all use the same headlight switch. i cant help you with a length but theres some info to help
