Default 4x4 Hi gear

So I took my blazer out to some sand dunes ,and it was going fine , I got stuck and got pulled out , but afterwards High gear didn't want to engage, only 4x4 Low? What happened? Did something break ? Is it an expensive fix?

inspect the tcase actuator motor connector wiring. if its intact; can you hear the motor move when the button is pressed? if you hear nothing check for power from the switch/module. you could also unplug the connector at the actuator and remove the actuator. then move the shift lever with a wrench...if the tcase goes into each mode...the tcase is mechanically is ok...the problem is with either the switch/module, actuator or wiring. the transfer case control module will set codes that can be read with a scan tool that accesses chassis codes.
