Exclamation 1998 Camaro, Engine Build Up

The motor in my Camaro went out and I'm thinking about a new motor. I have $2000-3000 to spend and I would like to get about 400+ rwhp n/a. Any ideas on setups and tuning options.

2000-3000 include labor? It could be hard to get 400 + rear wheel horsepower for only 3k even if that is a parts only budget

thats where i was going with my question as well MDtahoe...how toasted is your short block? you could save a ton by rebuilding your old block, or even boring it out some and then get a nice set of heads with that money. but even then its not enough for a 400hp build.

maybe your best option for that number is finding a junkyard 6.0 and do the essentials, you'd be alot closer to your number from the start

Default Consult a mechanic

Tuning and setup of any engineering product can be fixed well with the help of mechanics and the relevant technicians. Their answers would certainly help you in the longer run.
